About UsWe decided to 'semi-retire' to Howey in beautiful Mid Wales, early in 2004. after we had sold our very successful 'The Chequers Hotel' in Royston, North Hertfordshire. Chequers was renowned for the excellence of its' cuisine, thanks to Kesarin's creativity in the kitchen controlling her team of 3 Thai chefs.We still use the same extensive Thai menu at the Drovers' and, again, we are recognised as one of the very best restaurants in this part of Wales. You will find our restaurant very pleasant, comfortable and relaxed. Kedsarin, my wife and joint owner of the Drovers', came to England some twenty years ago, after graduating in economics at Bangkok university, after which we married and have worked together in business since. All food at the Drovers' Thai is prepared exclusively by Kedsarin.  |
